The R&A and The PGA Australia Institute have announced the launch of the Women in Golf Foundation Program in Australia. This initiative is a key component of The R&A’s and Australian Golf’s ongoing commitment to the Women in Golf Charter.

The program aims to provide women in the golf industry with opportunities to enhance their leadership capabilities and connect with a global alumnae network. Over 300 women have graduated from similar programs worldwide, with more than 75% receiving promotions after graduation.

The program is designed for women seeking to develop foundational leadership skills. Participants will learn to cultivate a growth mindset, develop self-awareness, build personal resilience, improve communication skills, and form lasting professional relationships.

Eligible applicants include women from organizations that are signatories of The R&A Women in Golf Charter, those in supervisory or management roles, individuals responsible for project delivery within their organization, volunteers with leadership experience, and potential first-time leaders identified as future prospects.

Interested candidates must register by August 14 by completing an expression of interest form. By August 28, applicants need to submit a CV, a letter of support from their nominating organization signed by their line manager, and a personal statement outlining their motivations and expected contributions to the Women in Golf Charter. Successful candidates will be notified by September 11.
