Webex announces 2025 All Abilities Scholarship recipients in golf

The 2025 Webex All Abilities Scholarship recipients have been announced, with four new scholars selected to receive funding for their golf pursuits. The new intake includes Tom Ryan, who has been awarded a full scholarship, and Kane Leonard, George Vassiliadis, and Lachlan Smith, who have received development scholarships.

These scholars join returning recipients Cameron Pollard, Natascha Tennent, Steven Alderson, and Noah Schammer. Full scholarship holders will receive $6,000 each while development scholars will be awarded $3,000 each.

Scholarship recipients will also benefit from coaching and tournament support. In addition to financial aid, they will receive clothing and equipment from Australian Golf partners adidas and Callaway. Technology support is also part of the package to enhance their performance.

PGA of Australia Senior Manager – Coaching Programs Nick Bielawski commented on the announcement: “With thanks to Webex it’s great to see some new players elevate their games and receive a scholarship.” He added that there is “a good mix of current performers and future stars” among the scholars.

Tom Ryan expressed his gratitude for the opportunity provided by the scholarship: “It means a lot that we have the opportunity to access some of this funding thanks to Webex and the PGA of Australia.” Ryan aims to win major championships within the next 18 months.

Ryan’s recent achievements include winning the Webex Players Series All Abilities Murray River and Riversdale Cup. He is currently enrolled in the PGA Membership Pathway Program at Sandy Links while advancing his golfing career.
