Seventeen golfers have earned entry into the AIG Women’s Open after final qualifying rounds held in Wales. The event, organized by The R&A group of companies, is a significant step for these players as they prepare to compete at one of golf’s major championships.

The R&A was established in 2004 to assume the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews’ duties related to golf governance, overseeing the Rules of Golf, hosting The Open championship, and promoting the sport’s development. The organization also manages the British Golf Museum in St Andrews.

The final qualifying event provided an opportunity for players to secure their spots in the upcoming AIG Women’s Open. This process ensures that talented golfers from around the world can participate alongside established professionals at a prestigious tournament.
