Twelve PGA Members have secured their spots at the PGA Professionals Championship National Final following state qualifiers in South Australia and Western Australia.

At Mount Osmond Golf Club, 21 PGA Professionals competed to determine the South Australian qualifiers. Cody Sherratt, based at Thaxted Park Golf Club, shot a 72 to win the championship by one stroke over Legends Tour regular Simon Pope, who scored 73. A playoff decided the third qualifier after Damian Wrigley, Patric Kroschel, and Benjamin Stowe all shot 75. Stowe clinched his place at the National Final scheduled for November 11-13 at The Heritage Golf and Country Club.

Simon Pope also earned a spot in the Australian PGA Senior Championship from November 7-9 as the leading senior player of the day. Anne-Marie Knight qualified for the National Final as the leading female professional.

In Western Australia, a playoff was necessary at Cottesloe Golf Club to finalize qualifiers. Scott Barr, Stephen Herbert, and Conor Brown each shot 3-under 69 to secure their spots in November’s final. Brody Martin clinched a fourth spot with a score of two-under 70. Four players—Damian Chatterley, Joshua Madden, Ackzel Donaldson, and Michael Draper—played extra holes to decide three remaining qualifiers. Draper missed out while Nicole Martino advanced as the top female professional.

The NSW PGA Professionals Championship was postponed due to severe weather in Sydney; meanwhile, Queensland’s qualifier is set for July 29 at Nudgee Golf Club.
