Australian golfers Jason Day, Min Woo Lee, and Cam Davis have qualified for the PGA TOUR FedEx Cup Playoffs, joined by New Zealand’s Ryan Fox. Their places were secured by finishing inside the top 70 of the regular season standings, with Davis taking the final qualifying spot at No.69 after his performance at the Wyndham Championship.

To continue to the BMW Championship in week two of the Playoffs, Davis must now finish outright 13th or better this week at the FedEx St Jude Championship in Memphis, Tennessee. Min Woo Lee enters the Playoffs in 50th position following a win at the Texas Children’s Houston Open earlier this year. Jason Day is ranked No.37 after four top-10 finishes this season, while Fox is positioned 32nd after victories at both Myrtle Beach Classic and RBC Canadian Open.

The Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia has representation on the DP World Tour this week as well. The three most recent Order of Merit winners—Elvis Smylie, David Micheluzzi, and Kazuma Kobori—are all competing in Scotland’s Nexo Championship at Trump International Golf Links. Smylie currently holds No.29 on the Race to Dubai Rankings, while Kobori is also on track to make the DP World Tour Playoffs during his rookie year. Micheluzzi aims to improve his standing from No.85 after missing four cuts in his last five starts.

In other international events, Cameron Smith returns to Chicago hoping for another strong showing at LIV Golf Chicago where he previously claimed victory three years ago. Smith leads Ripper GC and is joined by Marc Leishman, Lucas Herbert, Matt Jones, Ben Campbell (NZ), and Danny Lee (NZ). Kirsten Rudgeley joins New Zealanders Momoka Kobori and Amelia Garvey following their appearance at the AIG Women’s Open; they compete alongside Kelsey Bennett and Sarah Kemp in England’s PIF London Championship.

A number of Australasian golfers are also set to compete across other global tournaments including Korn Ferry Tour’s Pinnacle Bank Championship in Nebraska, HotelPlanner Tour Irish Challenge in Ireland, LET Access Series Ahlsell Trophy by Destination Jonkoping in Sweden, Sunshine Tour FNB Eswatini Challenge in South Africa, and PGA TOUR Americas BioSteel Championship in Canada.

Round one tee times (AEST) for key tournaments are as follows:
– FedEx St Jude Championship: Min Woo Lee (10:30pm), Ryan Fox (11:30pm), Cam Davis (1:15am), Jason Day (2:20am)
– Nexo Championship: Kazuma Kobori (4:10pm), Daniel Gale (4:50pm), Elvis Smylie (5:10pm), Brett Coletta (5:30pm), Danny List (9:40pm), Jason Scrivener (9:50pm), David Micheluzzi (10pm)

Recent champions include Hideki Matsuyama for FedEx St Jude Championship and Adrian Otaegui for Nexo Championship.

Other notable TV coverage includes live broadcasts on Fox Sports channels and Kayo Sports for several events throughout Thursday to Sunday.
