The Lees have a history of consecutive wins, and this past week hinted at another potential streak. Minjee Lee recently claimed victory at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Her brother, Min Woo Lee, started strong at the Rocket Classic in Detroit with a 9-under 63, matching his best round of the year. However, he fell back with a 73 in Round 2 but recovered over the weekend to finish tied for 13th.

Kelsey Bennett also performed well, tying for 19th at the Amundi German Masters during her first season on the Ladies European Tour.

In the Australian Golf Power Rankings, Karis Davidson enters at number ten after a break from golf in 2024. She has been showing promise on the LPGA Tour with her recent performances.

Stephanie Kyriacou chose not to participate in the Dow Championship’s two-player teams event following challenging rounds at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. She looks forward to competing in next week’s Amundi Evian Championship.

Karl Vilips returned to competition but missed the cut at the Rocket Classic. He is one of three Australians set to compete in this week’s John Deere Classic.

Min Woo Lee ranks seventh after an impressive start at the Rocket Classic and ties for his best result since March.

Hannah Green holds steady in sixth place on the Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking despite missing recent tournaments.

Marc Leishman faced challenges at LIV Golf Dallas, finishing tied for 25th alongside Cameron Smith who finished tied for 13th.

Adam Scott took time off after participating in several PGA TOUR events, including a notable tie for 12th at the US Open. He plans to play next at the Genesis Scottish Open.

Jason Day achieved a fourth-place tie at the Travelers Championship and regained his status as Australia’s highest-ranked male player ahead of this week’s John Deere Classic.

Lucas Herbert experienced another disappointing outcome on LIV Golf, affecting his individual season standings and team performance with Ripper GC.

Minjee Lee remains atop Australia’s rankings after her major win and will compete next in an event where she previously excelled in 2021. The Australian Golf Power Rankings are compiled with insights from members of the Australian Golf media team.
