Australian golfers had a mixed week on the international stage, with some notable performances and challenges. Min Woo Lee drew attention at THE PLAYERS Championship by sharing the lead through two rounds, although his weekend performance did not meet expectations. Sarah Kemp made a strong return to competitive golf at the Australian Women’s Classic, while Lucas Herbert led Ripper GC in Singapore, finishing tied for 14th.

The upcoming week holds significant events for Australian golfers. The Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit will be contested at the Heritage Classic, and the Ladies European Tour continues with the Women’s NSW Open. Additionally, Australians will participate in various tours including the PGA TOUR, DP World Tour, and Asian Tour.

Ryan Peake is positioned second on the Order of Merit as he enters the penultimate event of the 2024/2025 season. He aims to secure victories at both this week’s Heritage Classic and next week’s National Tournament to surpass Elvis Smylie for the Order of Merit title.

Cam Davis faced disappointment at THE PLAYERS Championship with rounds that resulted in missing the cut once again. He will attempt to improve his record at this week’s Valspar Championship.

Cassie Porter took a break after her top-five finish on her second LPGA Tour start but is set to compete next week in Arizona’s Ford Championship.

Elvis Smylie seeks a third victory this season as he participates in his final domestic event at the Heritage Classic.

Jason Day withdrew from THE PLAYERS due to illness and will not compete in this week’s Valspar Championship.

Minjee Lee has shown consistent form with three top-15 finishes out of four LPGA starts this year and is preparing for her next challenge at T Mobile Match Play.

Karl Vilips experienced a challenging debut at THE PLAYERS but remains under observation as he prepares to play alongside prominent figures like Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth at Valspar Championship.

Hannah Green plans to return fresh for her third appearance this year during next week’s Ford Championship in Arizona.
