The latest Australian Golf Power Rankings sees familiar names among the top ten, with notable improvements from Hannah Green and Marc Leishman as the majors season progresses. The rankings remain unchanged in terms of personnel, but some players have shifted positions.

Elvis Smylie is ranked 10th this week, having played all four rounds in a major for the first time at the PGA Championship. However, he missed the cut at a DP World Tour event in Austria and is now 21st in the Race to Dubai standings.

Adam Scott holds his position at 9th. He had a challenging start at The Memorial but recovered to finish T31, marking his fourth consecutive made cut since The Masters. With upcoming majors on his schedule, Scott remains focused.

Jason Day drops to 8th after missing The Memorial due to wrist soreness. Having achieved only two top-25 finishes in 15 starts this year, he will return for the US Open next week.

Marc Leishman rises to 7th following successful US Open Qualifying. As the LIV Golf Miami champion, he heads into LIV Golf Virginia with confidence, marking his first major appearance since 2022.

Minjee Lee ranks 6th after finishing T22 at the US Women’s Open. This marks one of her rare instances outside the top 25 this season.

Stephanie Kyriacou is positioned at 5th after missing the cut by three strokes at the US Women’s Open. Despite previous strong performances with T5 and T6 finishes, she could not replicate that form recently.

Min Woo Lee occupies the 4th spot after finishing equal 49th at The Memorial. His recent performances have seen him outside the top 40 since winning the Texas Children’s Houston Open.

Hannah Green improves to rank 3rd with a steady performance at the US Women’s Open, tying for 12th and recovering from a missed cut at her last women’s major tournament.

Karl Vilips remains in second place despite failing to qualify for the US Open today. Currently ranked 65th in FedEx Cup standings, he looks ahead to competing in this week’s Canadian Open.

Lucas Herbert retains his number one ranking despite missing out on US Open qualification. His recent achievements include a sixth career win on the Asian Tour and three top-five finishes on LIV Golf this season.

The Australian Golf Power Rankings is compiled based on input from members of the Australian Golf media team.
